Positive: We absolutely loved our stay in Flanders Fields! The location is simply perfect—so peaceful and unique. It's just a short distance from World War I memorial sites and some charming restaurants, which was a delightful bonus. The attention to detail in the house is truly impressive, and we found the bathroom to be just perfect. It's an ideal spot for a couple looking to relax. Plus, the landlord was so friendly and helpful while respecting our privacy. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience! I will be back to explore more about the history of WW1.
Negative: There’s a net over the big front window in the dining room, probably to help with the glare and heat. However, the tall grasses are blocking the beautiful view of the lake, which I was really disappointed! I totally understand that the owners need their privacy since they live so close by, but it is a bit disappointing that our back window is covered with such a light sheet. I can only imagine how lovely the view would have been! By the way, their house behind us is absolutely stunning and has such a peaceful vibe!
